It wasn't too long ago that one gigabyte was a BIG hard drive, and 128 kilobytes was a BIG memory card.
Here at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Panasonic has upped the SD memory card ante by announcing one with 32 gig capacity. It's said to be the world's first 32gigger with Class 6 speed specification (up to 20 MB per second).
Storage capacity is about eight hours of hi-def video, or umpteen gazillion photographs. Price has not yet been announced.
